I feel betrayed
Like summer and spring
We were the best of friends
But then you used me
And took away all the fun
A chill runs down my spine

The winter has come
The movement of life has frozen
Will this cold and death ever end?

I wait for spring to come again
But summer always betrays spring
And following betrayal is cold and death
Life goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on…

I want to rest in eternal spring
To listen to the birds compose
To watch the trees and rivers dance
To swim in with the waves at pace
To climb a mountain and stare at the sky
But only if you are there
With me, through it all

The wounds you drew upon me, Have become permanent.
They are deep and tearing, The size of two fists held together; I feel the pain every day.
I cannot but be reminded of your betrayal, but Also of the forgiveness of God, And thus forgive you.
My hope is that one day you will understand, The loss and sorrow you have caused me:
With your head lowered, tears flowing, comforted in my embrace, And hear

I forgive you, my love, For the pain you caused.
Rest your hand, Feel the beat of my heart; it is still there.
The wounds you drew, Have been healed by this moment.
